I still can't believe that it has already been 365 days since you had your birthday. I guess we were so caught up with a lot of plans, and then there's school and work and all that other stuff that keep us busy. One thing that I like, though, is that amidst the jungle of everyday living we are still able to find time for each other, and in spite of the saddening number of miles that sets us apart from each other we are able to keep our love stronger each day as we let God take care of us and our continuously growing relationship.
As much as I just want to keep the focus on you and just a little on our relationship, I could not help but mention it since it has such a big role in our lives. But anyway, I'm so happy that you are healthy and your studies are also going smoothly as we want. I hope that more blessings will come your way as you live another year. The way ahead is expected to be more chaotic and challenging but I know you will be able to overcome any hurdles as you have overcome the trials in your past. And as always, I am always behind you to support your decisions and give you encouragement when life gets the best of you. You can always count on me to be the one to hug and kiss you when challenges become too overwhelming and when your struggles in life finally pay off with victory.
I know you understand why I couldn't send the flowers that I have always wanted to give. I couldn't help but still feel sad when I think about it, but here's something that I hope will make the smile on your face last longer.
I hope you like it. I feel so blessed whenever I remember that I have you as my best friend and love. I will always be here to love and cherish you all my life. When God grants us our wish to be together again, I will hold on to you forever and never let go. I miss you a lot every single day. I know all these long years of waiting and crying secretly, longing for each other's affection, will be more than worth it. We will finally put the dream we had years ago into reality, where we sit under the moonlit field of flowers, my arms around you and your head on my shoulder, the two of us staring at the vast horizon savoring the moment that we are with each other.
